A work stock is the amount of hazardous substances needed to carry out daily work, is the work stock. This amount may remain at the workplace. Also note the following: Limit the amount of flammable substances in a laboratory area as much as possible. The rule of thumb is 1 litre per square metre of floor space up to a maximum of 25 litres in the workspace. For highly flammable substances, this is a maximum of 1 litre per working space.
