This is the best way to handle

  • Prepare the patient for the action, tell them what the intention is.
  • Take into account the possibilities and impossibilities of the patient.
  • Verbally and non-verbally, encourage the patient to cooperate as much as possible.
  • Avoid moving it only if the load requires too much effort.
  • Make use of aids as much as possible.
  • Make sure you have a good working height.
  • Make sure you have enough work space.
  • Make use of your own body weight.
  • Pushing is better than pulling.
